Do you have a price list?

Since each cake is custom, the final price depends on the size and complexity of the final design. Please complete our contact form to discuss creating a gorgeous custom cake for your celebration.

How do I store my cake?

Store your cake in the refrigerator and bring to room temperature at least 1 hour prior to serving.

Can my florist decorate the cake?

Due to food safety reasons, only the Batter team is permitted to decorate the cake. We are more than happy to work with your florist to have them supply the flowers for your event.

How far in advance should I order my cake?

Wedding cakes should be ordered at least 6 months in advance. 

Small celebration cakes should be ordered two weeks in advance, but check with us for availability if you need a last-minute cake.

Once you submit your order form, please allow 2-3 business days for us to confirm by email that your order has been accepted, due to availability.

Do you offer cake tastings for weddings?

Yes! At this time, we offer cake tasting boxes to help you choose your favorites in order to better customize your wedding cake. You can choose a different flavor for each tier, or keep it simple and just choose one. We are happy to assist you with any special request you may have. 

Our tasting boxes contain 5 mini cakes for you to taste in the comfort of your own home. On the tasting box request form, please let us know which flavors you’d like to try. Tasting boxes are available for pickup only and are by request only. The tasting boxes are 50€. Should you decide to choose Batter to create your wedding cake, the 50€ will be applied to your total (excluding delivery fee).

What is your delivery policy?

Our delivery fee within the Paris metropolitan area is 50€. Delivery includes any repairs needed after transport and assembly (if required). If the delivery location is outside of Paris, please contact us for a delivery quote.

Can I arrange to pick up my cake directly from your studio?

Yes. Please contact us to arrange the pickup of your cake.

What ingredients do you use in your cakes?

Our cakes and desserts are made in small batches with the absolute freshest, locally sourced (when possible) ingredients.

Do you use fondant to decorate your cakes?

All batter cakes are covered with our signature Swiss meringue buttercream frosting. All Batter cakes are decorated with fresh flowers unless specified. All fillings and edible decorations are handmade in our studio. 

Fondant decorations or details may be added for an additional fee. Please contact us for a quote.

Cake toppers can be sourced at an additional price. Please contact us to discuss design options and pricing.

Do you offer vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or nut-free cakes?

Batter cakes and desserts are not allergen-free. Our products may contain some or aloof the following common food allergens: Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Soy, Wheat, and tree nuts.

If you have any serious allergies to any of these allergens or one which could cause you to have a major allergic reaction, unfortunately, the only way for you to be safe is not to consume any of our products. How long can I store my cake?

Any leftover cake can stay in the refrigerator for up to three days, or in the freezer for up to three months.

How do I pay for my custom cake?

A 25% deposit is required for all cakes within 7 days of booking. Full payment is due within two weeks before the event. For cakes booked less than 1 week before the event, full payment is required at booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

A 50€ cancellation fee is applied if the cancellation is made after the deposit is paid. If cancellation occurs within two weeks of delivery, there will be no refund. Wedding cakes canceled within 5 weeks of the event will be refunded, less 50€ cancellation fee.
