Brisha’s passion for baking was ignited during her childhood in New York. Her father was a legendary chef and her Mother was a seasoned baker and from them, she learned at a very young age the artistry of creating. That love for creating led her to pursue a successful career as a celebrity makeup artist traveling the world. Each time she returned home from long international assignments, she would begin to bake as a means to unwind and relax echoing the comfort and happiness of her childhood in the Kitchen. During these baking sessions, she honed in on her love for the art of baking meticulously combining her artistry skills as she started to dream about becoming a professional pastry chef.
In 2017 Brisha moved to Paris for a fresh start. Arriving with two suitcases, a year-long tourist visa, and a passion to thrive, she applied to culinary school at the world-renowned LeCordon Bleu and graduated with a pastry diploma in 2019.
After completing an internship in the production kitchen of a well-known French pastry chef and gaining experience as a chef for a local food media company in Paris, Brisha ventured out to create her very own sacred showpiece which she named Batter.
Every Batter creation is made in small batches with love and care. All cakes and desserts are finished with intricate detail and perfection. Brisha combines her many years as a professional makeup artist with her natural skill and training in patisserie combining a harmonious approach to art, beauty, and taste.
